Abbey House Hotel, Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria
Abbey House Hotel, Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria | Hotel Photographers
Project Description
Abbey House Hotel was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and completed in 1914 in a neo-Elizabethan style as a guest house for Vickers Ltd and has been a Grade II listed building since 1949 as illustrated in the interior photography. The property became a hotel in 1984 and had a new wing added in 2001 with a considerable refurbishment, shown in the images by an interior photographer london, with luxury furnishings to reflect it’s four star status in 2014. This is a hotel photographers project to accurately capture the quality of the recent refurbishment. All public rooms, bar, restaurant, function rooms and bedrooms shown in the commercial photography, have had a luxury refurbishment that returns the venue to it’s original splendour. Quality materials have been used in the refurbishment to match the original standards used in the build. Oak finishing and high quality furnishings have been installed throughout that provide a vibrant impression against the traditional fabric of the building.
