Project Description

The Imperial Hotel was designed by Charles Fitzroy Doll between 1905 and 1911 on the east side of Russell Square, London. The building was demolished and replaced with a redesigned structure in 1966. Recent refurbishments have included vibrant designs implemented in the cocktail bar with golden art deco influences and the first floor bar with a 60’s treatment. The glazed pagoda roof above the bar cascades light into the Art Deco inspired room that has a 30’s influence geometric carpet design in gold and green.
