Project Description
Riverside Quarter is a luxury apartment development on the Thames in Wandsworth, South London. The original commission was for 850 apartments and 350,000 sq.ft. of commercial and leisure space. Planning consent was achieved by reconfiguring the blocks to increase the number of apartments that had views of the river and by using a design featuring a number of ‘fingers’ running at right angles to the river. Phase III added an additional 400 apartments housed in a design that resembled a series of interlocking shells that rise to 15 storeys. The shoot for the architects involved shooting the leisure facilities at dawn and dusk along with penthouse apartments.
